Fantastic. Thank you everyone and good evening. This is the 15th Annual People's Choice Awards. For 15 years, you, the American public have told us in no uncertain terms who your favorites were in the world of music, film, television, and entertainment.

And ours is the only award show that encompasses all these categories and once again, we took it to the people and once again they responded with a really terrific selection of favorites. Now, Michael is much too modest to mention this but to show off, he has won a People's Choice award.

Twice, Michele. Little House On The Prairie won twice.

So much for modesty, Michael.

And so much for small talk, Michele. To get our show off to a rousing start, we have 3 elegant gentlemen who, for many years, have graced the tube on Newhart.

It's very rare to see them at events of this nature so we're triply honored that they consented to join us this evening to present the 1st award.
