What happened to the voices behind some of your favorite one-hit wonders? By Gena Oppenheim It only took one smash single for the likes of SisQo, Chumbawamba and Blind Melon to make their mark on music history. Click through to find out where more of your favorite one-hit wonders are now! Toni Basil, "Mickey" Gimme a "one." Gimme a "hit." Gimme a "wonder." What's that spell? One-hit wonder! This trained dancer reused her La Vegas High School cheerleading uniform for the 1981 choreographed dance music video. The double platinum pom-tastic single from her "Word of Mouth" album made it into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as one of the most groundbreaking hits of the decade. But her second and final self-titled record in 1983 just couldn't compete. Hey, Toni, you're so talented, you're so talented, you blow our minds! After directing "Mickey" all on her own, the multitalented Toni continued dancing in the Lockers, the troupe she created back in the '70s. She also focused on acting, starring in movies like 1990's "Catchfire" with Jodie Foster and Dennis Hopper. Most recently, she choreographed Bette Midler's 2009 Las Vegas act, "The Show Girl Must Go On." The onetime pop star is clearly still workin' it behind the scenes, but we have to wonder … do you think she can still rock a bucket toss? Natalie Imbruglia, "Torn" In 1994, this Australian actress left the Australian soap opera "Neighbours" to pursue music in London and struck it big on her first try! Her alternative-pop debut single from the 1997 album "Left of the Middle" became the angsty anthem of the decade. The record-breaking No.1 hit sold more than 4 million copies internationally. Nothing to be torn up about here! Natalie's three subsequent albums "White Lilies Island," "Counting Down the Days," and "Come to Life" had mild success in the UK, but couldn't live up to her first and only real triumph. She returned to acting, making her big-screen debut in the British film "Johnny English," but has only scored a few small roles since. The brunette, who divorced Australian rocker Daniel Johns in 2008, was also a judge on "The X Factor Australia" in 2010. All in all, it's safe to say her music career is torn. RELATED: Romance reports for Feb. 28 Chumbawamba, ''Tubthumping'' They got knocked down, but didn't really get back up again! This politically driven band had been making music together since 1982, but found mainstream appeal with their pop-punk 1997 smash hit. Unfortunately, their radical anti-conformist views never saw such mass appeal again. With 11 rotating members over the years, the group released 19 albums until their mutual decision to part ways in 2012. To this day, 1997's "Tubthumper" continues to be their most well-known album. Still wondering what the name of their band means? According to their website, the name "Chumbawamba doesn't mean anything." Well, there you have it. Right Said Fred, "I'm Too Sexy" It seems like this band of brothers was too sexy for a second hit single ... Brothers Richard and Fred Fairbrass along with Rob Manzoli hit it big with their first song in 1991. The No. 1 dance track helped their album "Up" go gold, but the London-based trio never scored a chart topper in the United States again. Staying sexy is rough! Right Said Fred's 1993 album "Sex and Travel" did great overseas, but the group struggled to reach American fans. Their guitarist Rob decided to leave the group in 1997 and the remaining twosome went on to make five more albums together. Their most recent releases, "I'm A Celebrity" and "Stop the World" didn't make it onto the charts at all, but the brothers are hopeful about their 2013 single "Raise Your Hands." And, if all else fails at least Madonna called Richard the most bed-able man in pop, according to their website. Los Del Rio, "Macarena" This Spanish twosome had been singing together since 1962, but found mainstream success with their 1994 breakout song from the album "A Mi Me Gusta." The upbeat pop number became the dance sensation of the '90s! RELATED: Victoria's Secret models: Where are they now? Antonio Monge and Rafael Perdigones couldn't let go of their one massive success -- a different version of "Macarena" has been included in all of their albums together. In 2008, they released "Quinceañera Macarena" in honor of the song's 15th birthday. Hey, Macarena! Blind Melon, "No Rain" Who's laughing now? Not the little tap-dancing bumble bee that opened for the "No Rain" music video, that's who! Life on the road was rough, especially for frontman Shannon Hoon, who eventually fell victim to drug use. The band was originally formed in the early '90s in Los Angeles and also consisted of guitarists Rogers Stevens and Christopher Thorn, bassist Brad Smith and drummer, Glen Graham. Blind Melon went on to release their second album, "Soup," in 1995. Sadly, the album didn't catch on and Shannon continued on his downward spiral with drugs -- even a stint at rehab couldn't save him. On Oct. 20, 1995, the band performed together for their last time in Texas. Shannon died later that night from a cocaine overdose at the age of 28. The remaining band mates released "Nico" in 1996, but eventually decided to part ways. Shannon is survived by his daughter, Nico Blue. Blind Melon has since reunited with the addition of a new frontman, Travis Warren. RELATED: Bing: Child stars: Where are they now? SisQo, "Thong Song" This former Dru Hill member became a major one-hit wonder with the scandalous single "Thong Song," from his 1999 solo album "Unleash the Dragon." The spring break anthem didn't even make it to No. 1, but still garnered multiple Grammy nominations. It also got the attention of men with the scantily clad, bootylicious ladies in the music video. RELATED: One-name wonders Riding the wave of "that thong-th-thong-thong-thong," SisQo's next single "Incomplete" actually made it to the top of the charts and his second record "Return of Dragon" did fairly well, too. He's been quiet since his failed reunion with Dru Hill in 2002, but is promising a new album dubbed the "Last Dragon" in 2014. In the meantime, the Maryland native appeared on the 2010 season of "Celebrity Big Brother" and on an episode of "Celebrity Wife Swap" with his girlfriend Elizabeth. The couple welcomed son Ryu in 2012. SisQo also has an older daughter from a previous relationship. Len, "Steal My Sunshine" Don't steal my ... only No. 1 single! Toronto-born siblings Marc and Sharon Costanzo's band put out two albums before getting any real recognition. But that all changed after the release of the 1999 hit, "Steal My Sunshine" from their platinum album "You Can't Stop the Bum Rush." Here comes the sun! Unfortunately, the sun didn't keep shining for this alternative band, which has had a slew of different members come in and out of the band over the years. Their latest album "It's Easy if You Try" was released in 2012, but didn't even make it onto the charts at all. And that's all we know folks!
